Using an existing effective date

In BriteCore, effective dates provide a chronological reference for managing versions of coverages (lines of business) and rates. Effective dates serve as a historical record of changes over time, tying your lines setup and rates to a particular date. Once an effective date exists in BriteCore, you can use it to add, edit, or view lines of business. 

Using an existing effective date

To select a state or province:

1. In the top navigation, select Lines. 
2. On the Effective Dates tab, select the effective date you want to use.
